Former Fulham defender Phillipe Senderos said that he is happy to have made his debut for MLS side Houston Dynamo.

He played his first game in the match against Colorado Rapids, but unfortunately for him, his side was beaten 1-0 in that game.
However the former Switzerland international said that he is happy to have played for his new side and that he wants to do well for the team. He admitted that he lacks fitness at the moment as his last competitive game has been for Rangers in February.
Indeed he felt a small pain in his leg and had to be withdrawn from the pitch. But the Houston Dynamo coach said that he is happy with what he has seen during the game, and he is sure that Phillipe Senderos will be a welcome addition to the team.
He said that the former Fulham player has played for the biggest club in the world and has tremendous experience that can be beneficial for the young players as well as the team in general. Indeed Phillipe Senderos has played for teams such as Arsenal, AC Milan, and Everton.
He has participated in tournaments such as the Champions League as well as the World Cup with Switzerland.
Houston Dynamo coach Wilmer Cabrera said that he is satisfied with the way Phillipe Senderos has performed in the match and he is sure that he will be much better once he is accustomed to the league.
He said that the MLS is different from the leagues that he has played in so far and that it will take him some time to get acquainted with their style of player. He is sure however that he will be a great team player and help the team win games in the future.
